great subject! I'm working on a "Ishak", I'm collecting info  and documentation, the hard part with soviet era airplanes are the color chips very hard to find coherent surce about it.

Mister Warbird;

Welcome to the site. Here, you will meet many wonderful people who share the same enthusiasm as yourself. However, you’re only a basic member. You need to join the RSCB site to become a full fledged member. As only a basic member, you will be limited to only five posts. Please join. See FAQ sector, Site Membership or any one of those topics at the top of this page. I promise you, if you join, a whole world will open up to you.

Again, I also share your enthusiasm & interest in rare & unusual aircraft.

Skye

Your intro is interesting.  It's somewhat of a new branch of modeling.  We are still learning about how to do it best.  Join RCSB; it's a great bunch of modelers.  My interest is older warbirds, built lightly, flown at scale speeds and with scale maneuvers. So far I haven't done any sound but John Ranson has; see his threads and other's here at RCSB for information.
