Hi guys,

I'm a reformed modeller, after a long time away paying for kids, I'm back with avengeance:)

I've picked up a flight sim, and an ARF trainer (I couldn't get a .60 size trainer kit from my LHS's for love nor money) and I'm looking to get a kit for my second plane - something mid wing, tricycle gear and about .60 size. Not too fast though:)

I'm a builder at heart, I love seeing a pile of balsa turn in to the skeletal frame of an aircraft, and when I finally get in in the air the sense of achievement is so much greater than with a cookie cutter plane.

I'm looking forward to spending a few hours going through the board learning about new techniques and materials.

Thanks for letting me in

Shane

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I'll certainly look at supporting the site Ron, in a couple of weeks after I've snuck the credit card bill for my new radio past the Wife:)

Dave, just reading a few threads and I've got a lot of new ideas, it's a great forum!

I think I'm going on 3 years and still haven't finished.

Welcome to the insanity.

ROFL, I've just started on a few threads (mainly tools and setting up) and I'l be here for a while:)

I'm planning on welding up a table for either a glass or granite top, but I need to learn how to weld first!

Thanks for the welcome Marmbrust.
