I've had the pleasure of Ken keeping me updated along the way on his Lizzy build and if he does 1/2 the job on the LA-9 you will be blown away.

It's not scale build, but I'll build a SIG Four Star 40 and hopefully finish my Guillow's Spitfire MkI ( 16" WS)

My build is actually for someone else, not myself. It's a 3W Grumman Tigercat kit.

The specs are:-

Wingspan - 9ft 11.7in
Length - 8ft 7.9in
Weight - Kit says 22Kg, but with the engine choice and structure upgrades, this is expected to be 60 to 65 pounds.
Engines - 2 x Moki 150cc 5 cylinder radials, so it's gonna sound magic.

My winter build is a Top Flite P-47D (.60 size).  This will be my first scale build and I'll be experimenting with some new, to me, techniques such as fiberglass covering, panel lines, retracts, etc.  The kit is already in the closet waiting for my wife to give it to me for Christmas.  Some things are too important to be left to chance.

I'm working on a 120" Skyraider wing for a friend.  Then I'll be rebuilding a TF P-47 Giant Scale.  If there is any time left I'll start on the TF Seafury.
