Is this your model of the Wyvern?  Stunning, though it looks like a hellishly complicated aircraft to model.  I'd love to see more photos of it.

I'll post a new quiz in the morning.  Initial clue:  WWI (of course)!

No it is not.  I was contemplating on building it though I have a Jim Pepino P39 to build first.  It sure is a unique and rare plane The Wyvern kit and accessories can be ordered from this website though.

"This model is not  suitable for a heavier engine, the nose is too long and it would need an equal amount of extra weight in the tail."

The P39 is the same way as they both were designed with mid engines behind the pilots and have a shaft running forward.  All the weight was rearward so they have the longer noses to compensate I guess.
