My bet is that the CG won't change appreciably.
Like Doc, I would have thought it would have
stayed the same in a plane of that size.
We'll see...

Ken,

How about setting up Vanesa in your carport? I'm sure there has to be a rafter where you could install a hook.

Thanks for taking the time to create this post Ken!

I like the construction photos of the wing and the wing attachment structure. I think I will try the foam core wing template idea for complex shapes, it looks very good!

The flaps and ailerons I presume are identical to the scale model in shape?

I have an ARF kit by seagull and want to address the flap and aileron interface as they cross paths during operation.

Please update if you have flown the model.

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Sorry for the delay in reply. Yes, the aileron, flaps and fin and rudder are all scale; cloth covered with tapes as well, of course.

Using a foam core for obtaining wing rib patterns is quite accurate especially in odd wing shapes.

I have finished with the engine tune up and she is ready to go.

We have been rather busy with family matters lately but now things have settled and the outlook is much better and once Christmas is past and we are beyond the New Year we hope to have more settled weather and get to fly the Lysander. An attempt will be made to get a video clip of the event when SNOW comes up North for a big flying session.

I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a very Happy New year.

Cheers

Ken
