Posted: Admin @ May/01/2024 9:05am

This month's winner of Model Of The Month is

Vicar Hernandez's Bellanca Skyrocket

This is an awesome model and build thread that certainly deserves
this award from the craftsmanship and sheer amount of information in Vicar's thread!

Follow Vicar through his build process and watch this model come alive.

May Site Supporter Download
Posted: Admin @ May/01/2024 8:50am
This month's walk-around is a B-25J at the National Naval Aviation Museum. When this aircraft was restored it was painted as Jimmy Doolittle's aircraft used in the famous B-25 raid on Japan in WWII. This walk-around contains 57 high resolution images taken by member Tim_B.

This is an excellent subject to add to your walk-around collection.

May Site News
Posted: Admin @ May/01/2024 8:25am
I hope you all are are have a great Spring! Lots of fly-ins and contests here in the Northern Hemisphere coming up this month. I know our pals down-under are starting to sharpen their x-actos and cleaning off their building benches for another building season. No matter if you are flying this month or building please be sure to do it safely and try to share this great hobby with someone new this month.

Just a few items to note this month...

Seasonal Model Checklist - Just a quick reminder that if you have not already checked over your models thoroughly this season to be sure and do so. You can use our handy seasonal checklist to go through your models and check everything. Be sure to share it with your buddies and fellow club members too.

Email Address – Again, please double check your email address in your profile (click on [My Profile] on the site menu). We require a current email address in case we need to get in touch with you yet a large number of members have let their email addresses go stale and not updated them. If you have an old email address you no longer have access to and need to update it simple shoot me a message with your username and and new email address and I will be happy to update it for you. Don't forget you can manage the forums or topics you are following in your profile.

Photos From Events - While attending events this flying season, if you take some picture be sure and share them and tell us about the event in the "Scale Events" forum. Everyone would love to see all the beautiful models out there. I look forward to seeing more this year!

3D Repository - If you are a Site Supporter, over the last month we have had more than several contributions to the [3D Repository] under the [Site Supporter] menu item. Check them out!

I hope each and every one of you have a great month, and be sure to check out the Monthly Site Supporter download and the Monthly Site Supporter Special Offer if you are a subscriber. If not you can learn more about becoming an RCSB Site Supporter by clicking here or going to [Site Supporter] on the site menu.

Until next month!
Mike
