Thank you Doc!
Scale Building relaxes me, I really never had patience until I started scale building and it has been very rewarding. I have followed your threads with great enthusiasm and have learned much from you and others on here. The people on here are great and I look forward to building and sharing with all.

 Trev.

Welcome Trev.

LBJ, Thank you and I have been following along with several threads for years off and on, Yours included, Great Job on your DVII maiden.

Appowner, Thank you.
I have been active off and on for years, Building but not flying. That old Orbit is my reminder of how far things have come, It is funny though that Prices for radios have not moved much, I saved along time for that Orbit LOL. I have been staying current with new FAA Guidelines as well as new tech. It is mind boggling the changes that have taken place since I built and flew my first planes and even since I hung it up. I was still flying on 72 MHz! Not anymore though.

Believe it or not I still have a 72 system that I fly.  A Futaba Gold Box some 40 years old.  I think I got my moneys worth out of it.  :)

I have a JR Century seven single stick radio I bought in 1988 that uses a module system and there is a 2.4 module that will work in it if I get to feeling retro. lol

Thank you Neil,
I do feel like I have found the right spot to hang my hat! Right now i'm getting things in order for a build. I have moved my Building area from the shop to in the house. Once I have my new building table finished and obtain a few more supplies I will get started. Spent the last few day's milling lumber and assembling the framework. This is where my OCD really comes out LOL.

Appowner.
You definitely wrung out every penny you could with that Ole Futaba. I'll bet you find a few more in there.
