Hi all I thought I'd try and atleast make some friends haha, I'm Warren I've not been into aviation for long but into rc for about 13 years now,
I've been to wings and wheels over the years and recently gave up my rc cars, I used to be sponsored etc but now travelling is too far for my nearest track

Now looking to get into warbirds, I've recently purchased an arrows f4u, and my end goal is to build a zeroli warbird! Hopefully I can look through and learn a lot before committing to curtain plane haha
Looking to get into the balsa goodness :)

Welcome aboard Warren, being a car guy will help you with the right/left orientation as the plane flies towards you. I learned that concept on a surface vehicle, a Propeller pusher Ice boat when I was a kid last century.
Get with model airplane club and find out what they offer in buddy boxing and learning to fly. Its a lot less expensive to get instruction than doing it alone!

Warren,
I would like to join the choir & welcome you to this incredible site. The opportunities are almost endless & you’ll find tremendous support in nearly all aspects of your build from: basic frame work, any modifications, to radios, service, special tools or helpful hints & suggestions, advice on any techniques needed, don’t be surprised if you should receive a friendly visit from one of our members within your area, vendors’ special discounts & support, tutorials & so much more.

However, I noticed you have not officially joined by paying your annual dues. Without official membership, you’re limited to just 5 posts, no access to vendors   & more. It’s incredibly cheap for a whole year!

Please sign up today. You will not regret it.

Cheers,
