Greetings all,

I am new to the site. As far as a member. But I've been watching via my old man Roy, (graphic5) for a while now. I'm planning on seeing if I have what my dad has when it comes to building. However I don't think I will do a scale aircraft as a first build. Personally I was looking at the zirolli turbinator. (I have an affliction for turbines now ..  I can't afford mokis). I would like to do a build thread on this site. I really appreciate the skill levels, comunity and the advice on this site. So that is my question. Can I do a non scale first build thread on this site . (Without too much heckling ). Love watching your builds guys you have a great comunity here.

While we are here to encourage you and help you in your hobby, but there are other site like rcgoups.com that are better suited for sport model aircraft builds as our focus here is strictly scale r/c aircraft. Please don't let the discourage you from asking questions here though.
