Very nice build and I cant believe how great the interior looks .Outstanding, There is a full scale one of these in the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach.

Thanks `flyguy` not a lot of reference around for the interior of the navigation trainers, only had some basic drawings of the interior, is the one you quote a navigation trainer ?

I was hoping to show a video of it's maiden flight, as last Sunday was perfect, but after a few taxiing trials we found it needed a few adjustments, apart from a wheel axel coming a bit loose that might have been a bit fatal on a landing, (I have put a short bit of video on YouTube.)

So it's all ready for next time, but weather does not look to good for the near future.

In the meantime I can get back onto building the two Jerry Bates Grumman Wildcats.

That really looks excellent Bluewell, you should be very pleased!  I also caught a ride on one of these in Duxford a couple of years ago, what a hoot.  It's a plane that's been on my build list for a while now.  Thanks for the encouragement.

I have also had a Rapide flight at Duxford. about 25 years ago,
A modelling friend and his son came too.
The son said 'how old is that thing'?
Oh, about 75

HOW OLD; ...........If I had known it was that old I would not have gone in it!

This year two from Duxford did formation at Old Warden, might have been the same aircraft

Richard,
I believe the camo plane was at Duxford when I visited.
I flew in the one with "Nettie" painted on the nose.
The red trimmed one isn't familiar.
