Absolutely beautiful work there. Got any videos? Would love to see it flying.
This is my next build. Got the plans and have been poring over them.
How did you build the the rear top portion of the engine nacelles? These looked to be formed from either metal or in glass.

I formed them in resin and glass by laying a thin sheet of wax over the nacelle and making a female mould, then the two covers from that.
trim to fit, cutting the holes for fuel and oil fillers and for the main strut fixings.

Not had it`s maiden yet, this time of year is subject to the weather now as to when.

Thanks for additional information on the nacelles. Do you think you will be able to maiden this year? Or would you wait till summers next year?

Hi Dave,
your Dominie looks really good, so much better to go with electric on twins these days.

There was a Dominie converted to carry bombs and it had a machine gun hatch on top.
I took my 1/4 version to Top Gun once where the bombs were dropped in to the crocodile lake! I still have one with teeth marks.

Hope I can see it fly one day soon.
I wish Jerry would put a correction on the plans for the ribs. there should be no under camber at all if you do not mind me saying so!
Other than that they are very fine plans.

If anyone in UK has a idea to build a Rapide I still have some started wings that might help.

Old Warden this summer...........
