Hi all, I am about to attempt my first scale build.
Iv acquired a set of Gerry Bates plans for a P40 and have a short kit and a hand full of fibreglass parts scattered around the workshop for it as well, I look forward to learning from the wisdom of the group, all help and advice happily accepted.

You are probably aware of a couple of Jerry's P-40 threads here, they should be a tremendous help to you.

Before you get started, you may want to download and read this:  LINK  That's Jerry's guide to building scale, found in the tutorials forum.

Glad to have you with us.  Let us know too, if this is your first attempt at building scale, or just a little bit about yourself.  This is only so we can start the conversation at whatever level you're comfortable and go from there.  Are you going scale?  Detailing?  The cockpit interior?  That kind of easy stuff.
