Hi everyone.
I’m getting back into flying RC again after a hiatus of about 30 years, but I maintained my interest during that period. I started in the hobby in Adelaide in the late ‘70s, and flew gliders, slope and thermal. During that time I had a couple of Graupner Cirrus, a Mini Nimbus, and other built up models. Since then life has intervened with a move to Melbourne, and recently joined VARMS, a local club. To retrain my tx thumbs, I bought a Radian XL and now I’m trying to recapture some of my older experience by building another Cirrus. There’s nothing like jumping in the deep end, so I have a Ka3 and an ASK18 1/3.5 glider kit on order as well. I’d like to get some information about the gliders to replicate their cockpits and other areas if possible.

Please post your build. Their is a part of me that is keeping an eye on the gliders and I have some interest. No motors, engines, gas, not much in the way of landing gear.

might be a nice break from a warbird or complicated civilian plan

Hi Tony,
The ASK18 and Ka3 are from RC Europe, and yes, I will be posting build photos for them and the Cirrus here on rcscalebuilder and in other forums.
