I'm just not new in this forum but now it's getting time to present my self.
I'm from Germany and by the Moment I'm flying sail-planes and Foamy Warplanes.
One of the Foamis is a Ho 229:
My Ho229

But my new Project is a full scale Me109K10. This one is rebuild from Blueprints found somewhere in the web and a lot of pictures from museums here in germany and private persons.
I scaled it down to 1:7 but leave all the dimensions as they has been in reality.

The only thing I changed was the profile of the wings but kept the values as near as possible to original one.

Now a lot of guys are coming that the elevation and rudder are to smal for modells. I know and I'm living with the risk that the modell will be not easy to fly, but the original wasn't at all in Landing and starting. This I know. I will see

A lot of help for special parts was given to me by the owner of Green Wings, a engeneer with a lot of knowledge in construction and reconstruction.

He ist just able to produce the main landing gear of my Me109 in full sacle. I presented him the drawings and he rebuild them and produced them with a 3D printer.

If some one is interessted on the Bf(Me)109 undercarriage here is the link to his page. Greenwings

He also is able to create nearly any scale on this undercarriage and a couple of others. Ask him.

I'm also engeneer but just working as software developer and my real thing is flying models and real planes and reconstructing from scratch.

Happy to be here. I just learned a lot from Me(Bf) 109 builds here in the forum.

I'm not so far to present Pictures from my build. But if the modell will be fine I will present the downscaled plan here.

Hi bowie1304 ,

welcome to the best site , on the Net !!

Sounds like a nice project , I for one , don't see a problem , with scale tail proportions , the Reynolds Numbers , that we fly with , should preclude my friends F117 , from even taking off

I think you'll be fine !!

Love to see a thread !!

Cheers

Phil
