I would like to introduce myself ; My name is Allen Whitaker from Colesburg Ky a small town outside of Elizabethtown. I have been in and out of this hobby more years than I can think. I started in the early 1970s under the eye of my dad who got me started so to speak. I enjoy building and flying scale aircraft and have been a supporting member for over a year now. Currently I belong to two clubs in the Louisville area and fly whenever I can.

Hi Allen, thanks for speaking up.  I see you have been a registered member for several years.  What are you currently flying?  Are you building anything?

Currently building if you want to call it that a couple arf bashes including a Great Planes Staggerwing Beech in orange and black. As for flying I currently have a Great planes P-6e in 94th squadron markings and a giant Corsair bashed into an FG-1A bubble canopy test done by Goodyear. I am also working on a Bates N1K2J slowly but surely.

As for flying with dad it was fun while it lasted, unfortunately he passed away in Jan of 76
