the Goldberg Anniversary Cub is a pretty good start as a kit. Look at Pat Trittle's short kits (talk to him too, he is very approachable), Top Flight kts are good too. I am sure that others will chime it with thoughtful additions.
Welcome to RCSB BTW!
PS - I would avoid the big, sexy retracatable warbirds with fowler flaps and rotating turrets etc until you have built a couple scale planes. Stick with relatively simple birds, with fixed gear - maybe flaps. PT-19's are pretty good. Jerry Bates has some good fixed gear models too.

I agree with Jeff... Any commercial kits like CG or Top Flight are a great place to start. Be sure and review some threads here on some of those kits and that should help also.

Good luck and welcome to RCSB!

Save that stuff for your 3rd or 4th build. Right now you want to learn the basics like fiberglassing and painting

The advice that everyone here is given is sound advise.
The Meister Corsair is a great flyer, but not for a first or even a second build.
The main thing you want right now is too get some building under your belt first with a good kit.
We have all been where you are right now and have wanted to build that dream bird. Take your time and build something that is fairly easy. This way you don't become frustrated and don't know where to turn.
