After 40 years away from building and flying RC I'm getting back into the hobby. My plans are to build a Beaver and a Spitfire. I've read through the "Beginning Scale" and am quite thrilled to check some of the other threads. In all ways be well.

Good to have you with us. The DeHavilland Beaver is a great plane. Even Harrison Ford thinks so.

Welcome aboard! Great plans for building. You will want to start with some builds simpler a ARF Cub would make it easy to get stick time. Even electric has made things simple in that department.

Welcome Alan! Many changes in those 40 years! Check out the Carbon Cub. It has an on-board system that makes it nearly impossible to crash. Once you master that you can switch it to where you have more control/freedom to fly and then switch to full control. So, by the time the Beaver is coming on board you have mastered flight once again!
