Not the THUNDERBIRD 2!  that's not a high wing . O.K., just to keep moving along here's a few more thought provoking clues.

  1 - twin engine
2 - high wing monoplane with struts
3 - fixed tricycle landing gear
 4 - crew of 2
 5 - twin vertical stabs
 6 - 2 - 9cyl. air cooled radial engines
 7 - went into production 1965/66
8 - automatic L.E. slats and split flaps
9 - could be fitted with skis
10 - 332 built
11 - could be flown by most pilots after a few hours of basic training
12 - used by 7 countries
13 - failed to replace an earlier designed biplane of which more than 18,000 were built
14 production ended in 1976

Tomas,
I see this is your first post, welcome to RCSB! I hope you find this thread fun and educational. Go to page one of this thread and review the rules that we are playing by so you don't get off track with your clues.
I suspected the riddle subject (Clod) wasn't something a westerner would know very well.

Sparky, It has been well over 24 hrs. since Tomas  posted his answer and I responded. I am thinking there may be a lack of understanding about the guidelines/rules regarding posting a new quiz. Perhaps it is time to declare the thread/floor open to whoever posts first with a new quiz?
