Flite-Metalless than whole airframe packaging will soon no longer ship in round mailing tubes. USPS is now charging a stiff penalty for round tube shipping...often in excess of 100%. This due to Murphy's law of gravity...consequence of label weight...
Flite-Metal will begin replacing round tubes with 3" four sided rectangular mailing boxes. Though our cost is higher, overall, less than whole airframe Flite-Metal order shipping will cost you less.
*Just a guess...To align laser routing code labeling is more often than not requiring multiple automated attempts...resulting in too often manual handling to achieve proper results.
