Greetings all,

Here we are in mid summer in the Northern Hemisphere and before you know it we will be in another building season on this half of the globe! Have you thought about what you will be building this winter? Finishing up a previous project like me or starting a new one? I would love to hear from you what you will be working on this winter so speak up!

A couple of reminders this month...

1. New To Scale - For new folks who are just getting into scale building be sure and check out our Tutorials section and the Beginning Scale section on the site menu. There are lots of great tutorials and articles. If you are looking for someplace to start be sure and check out Jerry Bates "Building From Plans For The Novice" on the Tutorials page. It's a great introduction to building from plans.

2. FAQ (Frequently Ask Questions) - If you are new to RCSB save yourself some time and check on the FAQ page (linked at the top of every single page on this site) where 90% of your questions can be answered without having to wait for an email back. The questions and answers are organized into categories and there are even some video tutorials there. So if you have never seen it be sure to check it out. It's a great resource when you have a question.

3. Winter Projects - It's never to early to start thinking about your next project. When you get ready to start collecting items for it be sure and keep the vendors who help support our community in mind. You can find them by clicking on the [RCSB Vendors] link on the site menu.

4. Vendor Guide - Check out this quarter's issue of the RCSB Vendor Guide. Site supporters can find it under the Site Supporter menu item at the top of every page.

Hope you're enjoying the hobby and thank you all for your support of RCSB.

Regards,
Mike
