I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying our great hobby. With flying season upon us here in the Northern hemisphere, it time to start getting our models ready for the season. I hope you all will take a day and use our RCSB checklist to go over your models making sure they are safe and ready for a successful flying season. You can download the checklist by clicking here.
Just a few thigns to cover this month...
YOUR PRIVACY – Contrary to what you might think or see on “those other sites” RCSB will NEVER and I mean NEVER share any of your registration information with anyone except when required by law enforcement for an investigation. I believe this is one of the most important differences between us and other sites. The only data we collect is anonymous analytical data (how you use the site, number of visits, etc.) so we can make your experience better. You can read more about this in our privacy policy by clicking on Community and then RCSB Privacy Policy on the site menu or simply click here.
FAQ (Frequently Ask Questions) - If you are new to RCSB save yourself some time and check on the FAQ page (linked at the top of every single page on this site) where most of your questions can be answered without having to wait for an email back. The questions and answers are organized into categories and there are even some video tutorials there. So if you have never seen it be sure to check it out. It's a great resource when you have a question.
VALID EMAIL ADDRESS - If you have not done so lately, please go to your user profile by clicking on [My Profile] on the site menu and then click the "Edit Profile" link and make sure your email address is current and valid. Due to a high number of bouncing email addresses lately, the system will lock your account if more than ten emails bounce to your email address. I hate to do this but many folk have not kept an updated valid email is a requirement for your membership. I will even do it for you if you will email me with your username and an updated email address.
