Does anyone know of a person or a company that can use an existing canopy, make a plug from it without destroying it and then pull more canopies? May take this on myself but I would have to build a Vacu -form table, the plug etc etc. in my spare time (big belly laugh for that one!) Hoping to find someone to take this on, make me a copy in exchange for the use of the original and sell others for a profit for themselves. I have lost my go to person for this. It's for the Tony Lewis Me 410 and is a large two pc canopy. Long shot and thanks in advance.

Plug has to be a high temp resin... Let me say it must be a high temp resin.

You do not want this to occur during V-forming

Dynamic balsa does large vac formings

You can vac HIPS over a balsa plug, finish it and then make the vac plug by pouring into the HIPS vac Durham's Water Putty, a plaster like material that is much stronger and smoother than regular plaster and which can be finished to a high gloss.  The HIPS vac should be supported to avoid distortion depending on its size
