This month, to start off, I wanted to take a few minutes and remind everyone why RCSB is here. The purpose of this site and our community is to promote the building and flying of R/C Scale Aircraft (in any size, any type), and to help everyone enjoy this hobby. This is the "spirit" of what RCSB is about, and it always will be as long as I am around. Each and every one of us enjoys the hobby in their own special way, and that is how it should be. It is not my place, or anyone else's place, to tell you how you enjoy our great hobby. This is part of the core of what the site is about, and I would hope we all will take a moment and remind ourselves of this important part of RCSB. Our community is a place we all can come to, and if you are inexperienced, be encouraged and assisted, or if you are experienced, offer encouragement and assistance. Social media and the world today tend to encourage people to "call someone out" on something any of us may not agree with; this will not occur here.
I would encourage everyone to review our Forum Rules as a reminder of what is expected from every member who participates in this community. Wrapping up, I hope each of you will remember we are all different, but EVERYONE deserves to be treated in a respectful way as adults.
With that out of the way... Another time around the sun, and here we are again, kicking off another building season up on this side of the equator. As you may or may not know, RCSB's success is directly attributed to the great content that folks post and find here to help them with their projects. So if you have not done so, you should start a build thread this season for that new project you have been itching to get going on! It's really easy, and not only will you be helping others, but you will be helping yourself by having a vast pool of knowledge to draw from if/when you get to the points where you have to make hard decisions. If you have never seen it, check out the posting tips and tricks to help get you started, or simply ask me or the other members if you get stuck on something when getting your thread going. I look forward to seeing your project!
