Hi all! I decided to donate my old Don Smith 1/4-scale Curtiss R3C to the museum "Aeroseum" in Gothenburg last year. 63" Span. 15.5lbs. Laser 200 for power

I hope you pulled the Radio, Servo and Engine before you donated it to the Museum. 

I had arranged to donate a model to a brew pub one time with the payment of free beer for life! I managed to crash it before the donation occurred and so the deal didn't go through. If it had it would have been a great deal for the pub as I moved away about 6 months later.

Posting a better image of the 1/4-scale Curtiss 
The plane proved to be forgiving in the air. Maybe due to the large horisontal stabilizer. With floats flying was scary as the plane showed a tendency to stay inverted on top of a loop.

The wing radiators are gold-painted fabric wallpaper.
