I hope its not a problem linking to a competitor site like this? But I had trouble finding this thread in the past.. And it brought back so many good memories of simpler times and excitement in the hobby.. I hope some of you will enjoy it. There are more than a couple of posters in the thread that you may recognize.. Such good times...

Thanks for posting and the link. I have been making pilot busts from molds since it is getting more difficult to purchase them

I think a lot of us RCU veterans (I had over 10,000 posts) emigrated to RCSB after RCU switched platform software. In my case, this resulted in the loss of hundreds of photos in my Albatros CI build, begun over there. I had never felt I was "worthy" of posting on RCSB.

Abu I know what you mean.. I don't dream of being in the top tier of scale modeling.. But I do think guys like us are a middle stepping ground..that maybe encourages people to try fun scale, and then improve themselves, learn from others..and just enjoy the whole process..
I admit there are times I see builds on here and just feel inadequate ! hahahahah But I have helped quite a few guys in my group improve their planes finish from very amateur to very respectable. And in this era of the hobby building anything at all is considered pushing the limits !!!

I don't have the skills, knowledge or time to build planes like I see here so I'm going to enjoy the builds, contribute what I can and be happy.
