My Hawker Typhoon Fuselage Kit sent overseas from Bulgaria.

I'm thrilled to report that my Typhoon fuselage arrived late Tuesday afternoon via our illustrious postal service. The box looked like it had been through the Bataan death march. A representative from the post office actually brought the box to my work and had me stare at her in disbelief as she asked me to sign for the shipment without opening the box to inspect for damage. She said that if I opened the box, I would lose the ability to reject the shipment and would be stuck with the model even if it was damaged beyond repair. What to do? That Typhoon came a very long way and was not something I wanted to return. Depending on how you look at it, the box "fortunately" had a large rip in it's side that allowed me to peek inside. It looked like Kuhn had done an excellent job of suspending the fuselage inside a cleverly constructed foam cradle that had prevented the fiberglass from being crushed. From what I was able to see, the Typhoon looked like it had made it past the United States Post Office without a scratch. When I took everything out of the cardboard box, I was extremely pleased to see the contents were in perfect shape. What an awesome job Kuhn did on this fuselage! An absolute work of art. I cannot wait to start building it. Thank you Kuhn for making this Typhoon fuse for me. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication in making a product of such high quality. Ow!  I think I would have bought a ticket and carried it.

I did hand carry a Kavan Jet Ranger helicopter once.  Flew from Alaska to Michigan.  The Stewardess (yep, that's what they were then) stood it up in their little closet up front.  Made it just fine.
