Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.
I won't be starting the DC-3 build anytime soon, though, since I don't consider myself ready for it.
I will first complete the Beech D-18 build, and maybe it's best that I post the build log here to get some feedback on my techniques and results.  That won't happen before winter, since I need to move my workshop to another room, where the cats can't come in and destroy my work...

Welcome to the site!  You have discovered the best scale RC building site on the web.  If there is anything I can do to help you settle in, please let me know.  We all look forward to your D-18 build, don't hesitate to start a build thread and post your progress.  I don't think I have ever seen a Royal DC3 thread before and it will be great to watch it happen when you get to that one as well.  Thank you for becoming a site supporter!

Will be nice to see a building thread for a Marutaka Dc-3. I got an old kit a couple of years ago and it is no waiting my the finishing of my Vailly aviation hawker hurricane. Most of my plans got delayed due to my move to Switzerland last year. So I will be following yours when you are quicker to start the build.
