Looking forward to seeing some pictures from the show floor.  Let's go guys... throw us a bone or two.  ;-)

Paul

Sorry Paul, too busy gawking to take pictures yesterday.  Will do so today.

...

As impressive as I've found the show, this is my first time.  The old hands we talked to who have been coming every year for decades say it is much smaller than it was even 10 years ago.  It's still pretty big if you ask me, and I'm glad it is still going to this extent.  But, it may be like the glaciers...   better go see them before they're gone!

Gary

Thanks Gary!  I look forward to the pictures.  I can definitely relate to what the old hands are telling you.  The WRAM Show (now AMA Expo EAST) has gone through a similar transition.  It used to take up 3 floors of the convention center.  Now it barely can fill a floor.  Enjoy my friend!

Paul

Marty,

Just returned to Houston from Dallas.

Gary,

Is the WiFi in Seagate working this year? That is a portion of the
Univ. Of Toledo and should have full access.

Ed,
The vendor I did buy from (National Balsa) used their
hot spot phones to do business and had no problems.

I met Jeff briefly but I only saw one plane of his, the
"porcupine nosed" one... Did I miss something?

And I see you donated some FlightMetal kits to the
dinner prizes. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't win one
as my DC-3 would take a LOT of FlightMetal.

It was my first trip to the Holy Land (Holy Toledo, for
those of you who might not get it and for our non-American
friends: "Holy Toledo" is on the order of "Holy Cow").

I didn't know anyone there but when I sat down to dinner
with five others around me it must have taken all of thirty
seconds to become new friends. Thanks to Rusty, Tim,
Esther & Stan, and Chick Graves for making my night there
enjoyable.

Had to post this one by itself.  More pics coming.

Good luck today Jeff!  Whatever happens, *we* know that you deserve to sweep the awards.
