I'm a retired A&P, Private Pilot (1970). Have a good collection of models and a 1940 Aeronca Chief under restoration. I am a Widower raising a 10 yr old daughter. While she's in school building takes place. Scale is the main interest.
I live 14 miles, 90deg of the Chardon VOR. Oh ya, I hate snow! I know, why do I still live here? Go figure.

Huey,
Good morning & great to see you on this site. I know you'll enjoy it. Great people & really devoted to scale detailed models of all types, sizes & description. I was wondering why I haven't heard from you in awhile. Great to know you're still alive & around.

This site is more tailored to your style of modeling (trust me).

There's a lot to learn & gain from here. We (as in you & I) can really benefit from this site. Just sit back, relax & read all their build threads. You'll be amazed. Really great to see you & know you still hate snow & Mustangs...

Speaking of Mustangs, I'm in the process of building a Guillow's Mustang (go figure). I'll send some photos direct to your email. If you can, do you have any pictures of that small area just under the front windshield of the Mustang? I'm trying to figure out how the smooth rounded top decking of the nose transits to the instrument panel.

Gotta write to you soon. Please say "Hi" to your daughter for me.

Skye

Huey

Just move west - like to Westlake - you're in the snow belt over there.

For those who don't know NE Ohio.  You don't need a mountain to create a lot of snow.  Live on the edge of a great lake and you could get 10+ inches of snow and 30 miles west you get nothing.

Join up and share a few pic's of your resto project.
