Hi all,

Greetings from Finland! Here´s some pictures of my just finished (well, some details will be added) 1:3 Jungmeister. Has been built from Gary Allen´s excellent plans, slightly modified. My Jungmeister is now somewhat ready for maiden flight. Dry weight 11,5 kg. Engine is Zenoah ZG 62 PCI with digital ignition (Toni Clark) and Zimmermann canister muffler inside the fuselage. Also, for quietest possible engine sound, I built a Go-Kart -style inlet silencer for carburator. Engine turns 26x8 Fiala prop by 6300 rpm. Colour scheme is Bücker´s original factory scheme of 1938/1939, RLM 63 v.2 Lichtgrau (->RAL 7040) all around. Wish me luck for maiden!

Rgds, Hannu

PS. "Scratch-built" -area has an old Gloster Gladiator thread started by me quite many years ago. You see the fuse of Gladiator in some of pictures. That thread will get active soon... Now you know what I have been doing in the meantime.

 Mita!
Good job. One of my favorite planes. I'm finishing up a very old Dave Platt BU133 in the G-BUTX scheme.

Time for an update.

My Jungmeister never flew with ZG62 installed, mostly due to need to add almost 1 kg ballast up front for balancing the plane. That´s why I installed a Fiala 85 cm3 twin, and a new cowl from Paolo Severin. Jungmeister has now flown successfully, it really flies like a big trainer. As I was lazy and didn´t start any build threads, please feel free to check the following picture folder, including 180 pictures of my build. Also some very recent pictures are included.
