Greetings fellow modelers.
I am new here, and new to really scale models. I'm 38 yrs old and have been flying for 7 years. I fly everything from small electrics to large gasers, scale and sport/3D. I have always built and rebuilt my models, which here in Utah is rare for my age. I stop by the hobby shop to buy a lot of balsa and older guys look at me funny, like they've never seen anyone with no gray hair building. My first project that I want to scale out is a small OV-10 Bronco. I'll start a build thread. I look forward to interacting with all of you and learning a lot.
Thanks,
Kwalker

I’ll have to look at the plans to see who the designer is, some of you may be able to guess. It’s an OV10 Bronco, about a 48” wingspan. Is designed with fixed gear that I’m going to change to electric retracts. It’s a scratch build, which is a first for me. I’m not going crazy scale on it but I want to vacuum form the canopy and build the gun pods and fuel tanks. I’m doing my plan study now and coming up with a wood list to begin the build. I’ll start a thread as I get going on it.
Thanks for the interest.

Keep us posted on the progress.  I think I may have built a t_28 from that same designer????

Built it way to heavy but actually built it to learn techniques not really to fly and it has not yet!!!
