Guys,
Here are some pics of my first attempt at building a scale model.  It's a Top Flite P-51B built from a kit.  I have Robart electric retracts, O.S. 120 III 4 cycle engine and it has been glassed and painted with Klass Kote epoxy paint.  The graphics are from Callie Graphics.  I also wanted to say thank you to all of the folks here on RCSB for all of the replies to my posts during the build and a big thank you Chad Veich for all of his guidance and mentor-ship throughout this build.  Anyhow, here it is.

Lenny

I want to give a big thumbs up to Lenny for the great job he has done on this bird.  I would say that it "looks great for a first attempt" but the truth is it looks great for any attempt.  I can't wait to see what Lenny's fifth or sixth scale model is going to look like!  And the best part is that he is a young guy who has really been bitten by the "scale bug" and is ready and willing to put in the effort necessary to build exceptional models.  We could use a lot more guys like that!  At any rate I think Lenny is going to fit in around here just fine and I hope this completed project is just the first of many.  Onward and upward!
