Flying Foam will only quote a price for me if I send them CAD files.

You may also go on their site and fill out the spreadsheet with all your information. Submit that and get a quote. You only need to send a file if the airfoil is not a common one. I did it once, very easy to work with.

H - if the designer's name is on the plan, you can try to contact him and ask.
It will be a NACA something or other, you might even be able to find it listed on line, search for airfoil listings (there is a site, but I forget what it is named).

Sadly, as a basic member you have reached your 5 allowed posts.

Let me suggest you check out the site supporter program, you have seen some of the benefits of membership already - as a site supporter they are greatly expanded!

Check this LINK for more information.

OK Jeff, I fixed that second part. I did find a place that would quote off the PDF plans. The PDF is scaled correctly. Still debating foam or built up wing. I may just do one of each and see which I like to fly better.

I guess the rest should be in a build thread instead of an introduction.

Cool!

Things to consider on a foam wing:
1. trough or tunnel for servo wires
2. cutouts for servos.
3. hard points for landing gear - although yours probably has spring steel (aluminum or CF) landing gear bolted to fuselage.

I thought of a couple other things last night, but that was then and this is now and I cannot remember!!!!!!

And a separate build thread would be terrific!
