I finally got time to get the DVII outside for some pics.

Balsa USA 1/4 scale Fokker DVII kit finished in the colors of Urlich Neckel, the last CO of Jasta 6 and also the last recipient of the Pour le mérite or Blue Max.   

Power: Zenoah G38 with Tony Clark muffler
Radio: Taranis 
Servos: HiTec HS-5645MG
Glenn Torrence 4 color lozenge fabric and Solartex with latex paint
Williams Bros. Wheels and guns

No, I didn't carve the prop. It's a Xoar WWI prop. Just Props has them and well as Balsa USA.

Hey Hopper, nice D VII, love the color scheme, interesting subject pilot, I like it.  Just in time for the new flyin' season.  Have you maiden it yet?

Just to give you all a heads up, I have had some serious heath issues again, heart & lung problems. A few days in the hospital, but the road to full recovery will be a slow go.  I plan to make as many of the events possible, I'll just be a little slow setting up my airplanes.  Pass the word to the guys, I'll be at the fllyin' field when I am able.
