Hoosier Scale Classic August 1st and 2nd, 2015.
Nasa and Scale Masters Qualifier.
Located on historic Freeman Field in Seymour, Indiana.
Free camping, no hook ups.
Numerous hotels and restaurants within a short driving distance.
This is a great flying site, no trees, no wires, just wide open space to fly with your choice of hard surface of grass runways.
Friday night pizza and Saturday night banquet.
Any questions please let me know.
Edit: Added a picture of a 171" C152 to give you an idea of the site.

Yep.
I had a cold so I am off this week so I just realized that Mint Julip is this weekend. I am scrambling to get her ready for Saturday, I have to work Sunday so it will be a one day/shakedown scored practice rounds for me.
Fix about 4 things and I will be ready to go for Saturday.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. Right now it doesn't look good. So we will make the final call on Thursday if we are going to go this weekend.
Hope you are feeling better!

Steve,
I am waiting for my farmer to start bailing hay. He has postponed until next week due to the WX forecast we need a 3 day window. He keeps asking me when he should cut, I tell him I am pretty good at flying planes he is pretty good at Farming! We need 700 bales, hot hard work! I have some boys that will do most of the work I am not quite as hands on as I used to be. If its 90 degrees outside, in the top of a barn stacking hay i bet it is 110 degrees plus!
The day of the year I dread the most.

With you on that one. I grew up in a farm community and bailed hay every summer for several years. Getting stuck stacking the stuff in the loft was miserable even for a youngster. I guess it is a wait and see what the weather brings as we get closer to the weekend.
