 Hi i am very new to scratch building i must admit i have been flying arf thats how i got started. I would to build my own model one day , there is one question im dying to ask and i cant find the answer , if you were to buy a laser cutter what would be a good size ?

I cannot help you with your laser questiion but there are some here who can - see if you can find Gerrys Sopwith (I think that is the thread, don't know which forum but it is Gerry Yarrish)  - also, check out the 150" P-38 in the Ziroli forum - Goranj mentions using a laser and may have some insight.
