Been into R/C cars for 20 years , moved to Helicopters 5 years ago .
I have always wanted to build an RC plane, i now have the time and have decided to go big and build my favorite
a Piper J-3 Cub 1/3.75 scale.
Even if it never flys i want it parked in my workshop

Hey Richard - welcome to RCSB!
Sounds like you have already chosen a kit or set of plans - Cubs are always a lot of fun, everyone should have one in their air force, if only for lazy Sunday flying!
You will find lots of help and advice here.

Be sure and start a build thread, and be sure to check out the site supporter program HERE.  That will allow you full access to the site and remove the posting restrictions of a basic member.

Welcome Richard, a Piper Cub is a great choice, I have built 2 now and one of them is on Floats for Lake flying, very graceful easy flyer on a good weather day. You will love the help you get from everyone on this web site and will learn the details of scale building and proper aircraft control function, a super bunch of People.

As Jeff mentioned do a building thread so we can all watch as you go.
