Well after having it finished for well over 6 months I maidened it at the start of May and my girlfriend took a few pics in the sunshine!
The spitty flew on rails even though I couldnt get the idle low enough to get a good landing so it tipped up on its nose! No damage and it lives to fly another day.

I chose not to go mad with detail as I wanted the spitty for a club flyer not a show model.

Hi Dave, I agree it might help if I added a bit more information :-)

It is the 69" BT PR XIX built from the traplet wood kit.

Engine is a laser 120, mechanical retracts from Unitracts for the mains and a robart copy for the tail wheel.

Fibreglassed and painted with warbird colours.

It was my first go at fibreglassing, as my preferred method is tissue,dope and sanding sealer!

Hopefully get the vampire off the board and there should be a 109E to pair up with this one.
