Yesterday was a great day.  I got my 1/3 scale Nelitz Cub
out for the first flights since I got the plane.   She is so
sweet with very nice details....down to a floating cork fuel
guage just like the original.  Best of all she has a Kavan
2 cylinder 4 stroke gasoline 50cc motor that runs like
sewing machine.   Total relaxation to fly.

Forest,

What a great plane. I'm 8 months into one at the moment. Thinking about starting a build thread. Here is a teaser photo.

Jerry,

Please do a build thread.  I rember seeing the original at Toledo years ago
when the plans first came out.  I never figured to have one but got lucky
and aquired this one already complete.   I would love to watch one go
together.

Forest,

I'll try to get all my ducks in a row and start one soon.

I'm curious what yours weighs ready to fly? I'm building mine with a welded steel fuselage just like full scale. It's easier to do landind gear fittings, strut fittings, etc.

Forest,

I started a build thread in other designers. It will take me a while to catch up to where I am in the build. Here's another teaserI took this afternoon.
