I just began a nick ziroli 2.25" - 1' scale corsair f4u. What the plans do not have in them are the accommodation for the folding wings and the retractable gear. I also plan on making all of the flaps, and the folding wings and lock for the folding wings hydrolicly controlled. If anyone on her has any advice or helpful hints that they would be willing to share, I am most welcome to advice.

Hi Saber.

There are a number of great Ziroli corsair threads here on RCSB, but I'm not sure of any that have done the wing fold. I'd love to see you join up and start a thread on your project so we could watch along. I do remember reading a couple Corsair threads that had wing folding, but they weren't Z-Corsairs.

However, there is a Ziroli AD-1 Skyraider build that will just crush your dreams with the level of detail and skill that he's put into it, and he added a wing fold to it...still in progress.

If you do a search on "corsair" you'll get a bunch of reading material.

I've ordered the 4 RCV90SP engines that will be converted to gas from nitro from engine manufacture. They will be going in my 1/12scale Palmer C130 Hercules done in a different paint scheme from the Columbian airforce show plane.

Picked on that because my next project, a Focke Wulf Fw-44 fits into that period, as do many other interesting aircraft.

That is what the "Other" category is for. There is a limit to the number of choices that can be added to a poll.  BTW, love the Fw 44!
