I've only scratched the surface of the site, there's a lot to it! I'll check it our more thoroughly as I can.

I'm in the motorcycle industry so as you can imagine, it's extremely busy right now. The only time I've managed to get flying so far is early mornings. (my own 'Dawn Patrol'!) what with the crappy weather so far this spring!

Where are you?

Thanks for the tip! It looks like a good possibility. Quality looks good, product testimonials all seem good.

I am amazed with the amount of R/C product out there. I never would have thought there would be that many Companies/product as I'm finding. It's very inspiring to see how popular this hobby/sport is.

 


A lot of that is due to laser cutting.  With that, you don't have to keep a large inventory on hand (except in wood if you cut in house).  Contrast that to Proctor for instance, where each part is hand cut.  Not knocking Proctor at all, I love their kits - just different business philosophies.  Order a kit from Proctor and you are most likely going to have to wait a week or more for the kit to be cut and parts assembled and packed.

 Hi Ken,

   I'm in the Windsor area, soon to move to the Ottawa\Montreal area due to career changes. There is a scale club in your area called the Seeton Valley RC flyers right near Claremont. A very good friend of mine (& the MAAC Scale Chairman) is a member there Jim McIntyre. Also, Jim Moss is from your neighbourhood, he is also a scale enthusiast.

 Can imagine about the motorcycle work (just got a 2003 Magna in January & loving it!) 1/2 the time I'm torn between going for a ride or go fly!
