My name is Ray Richards and I am an Englishman living and working in Holland. I have been passive on this site for some time, and never really considerd myself a good enough modeller to contribute......I love all things scale, leaning towards WW2 .....I am migrating to this site no partly because I feel more comfortable here now and partly because I am heartily sick with the Shop/Marketing/Sales way that some of the other major sites are going....as I said in one of my posts...If I hear *Whats next from Parkzone/E-Flite/Horizon/banana. ETC ETC ETC ETC I will scream !! ....anyway on to more peaceful persuits....Happy landings all and hope we can exchange information and good humour on these boards
Thanks for listening and sorry for the rant :-)

Glad you found our community more comfortable. We try to stay as focused on building as possible and EVERYONE here has something to contribute so don't hesitate to start a build thread on your next project!

Ray. I want to welcome you too the site as well. You comments about the difference between this site and some of the others means we are being successfull in our goals for this site. Like Mike said we want the main thrust to be concerned with building and the exchange of information and ideas.
Hey Ray - echoing Ron and Fearless Leader - glad you like the site!
