Sorry Joseph, I forgot to post all of that.

Jerry Berhens plans I got from Uncle Willie's Plans.

Came out to 81" wingspan and just a tad under 22 lbs. I needed 1.5 lbs in the nose to balance.

G38 turning a 20-8 modified Zinger prop.

Plans has under cambered ribs and sport semi symetrical  ribs, but I made flat bottom, being my first scratch build.

Well, I've had better days at the field, but also much worse. The G38 was being a bit of a female....she didn't know if she wanted to run or not. I thought I had it figured out, went to the runway....started my takeoff roll, engine came up, then hesitated (again). Just as I was backing off the throttle, she nosed over in the less than perfect grass. Not much damage (and maybe a blessing in disguise). It broke one of the rigging attach points I was concerned about. So, NOW I will redo all of the flying wires like I should have done the first time. Like I said....it coulds have been much worse.
