My name is Robin. I live in Benoni, South Africa.

I am a builder & much prefer to build than fly. Having said that I still enjoy flying what I build.

I have 15 planes in my hangar.

I am busy with my 4th build from plans having recently completed a Spitfire with a 30cc DLE. Very nice and stable.

I am busy building a Vampire from plans in wood with a Kingtech K80 turbine. This is my first turbine and the building is taking time. It,s my biggest project yet but I am really enjoying it.

I also have the distribution rights in South Africa for LADO electric retracts.

I intend to do a build blog so will post progress here. Mind you, I am a slow builder as I have a full time job which, at my age, takes its toll.

I cannot survive on Pension so got back to work, luckily.

The Vampire is from a plan by Tony Nieuhaus from RCM&E.
