I have a question, is the grass runway right in front of the pilot boxes, or is the pavement? I really like flying from grass but it always seems like clubs put the pavement right in front of the pilot boxes. However, for the event we will use the grass on the far side of the runway (east of the pavement). The reason being the ground on that side is a bit smoother and most prefer to use the hard pavement as the primary runway.
