Congrats Chad , and thanks for the report, looks like a great time. I have been looking into trying to make it down to Castle this year as a tourist to see what it is all about. I have never been to an event of that type so should be an experience if I can make it.

The first round of the first contest I ever flew in also happened to be my first flight of the season. Won't be doing that again anytime soon.

Chris Spangenberg got me into the hobby and taught me how to fly 20 years ago. There is no better ambassador for the hobby or better all around guy than Chris. Back then he had just finished a Dave Platt Me 109 for his first entry at Gunsmoke. That was another great bit of craftsmanship.
