Yes Jim, your 1/3 scale WWI resume is impressive. Do you have a picture with someone near the plane to give a sense of scale size?Awesome work as per usual!

Thanks, guys! I don't have any pictures with anybody near. The size is similar to the BUSA Nieuport 28 but it is a little more compact. It was suggested by others to use a reduction drive and a scale sized prop but I wanted to keep things simple for fun flying. Jim

Awesome SPAD. Beautiful work. Would like to see the SSW DIII as well? Love those WW 1 birds. Bob

Thanks, Bob. Here are a couple pictures of the SSW:

It's from Dave Johnson's plans. Weight is about 35# and power is a Fuji 64cc.

Jim, Ask and thou shalt receive. Awesome job on the SSW! Beautiful! That's a subject you don't see modeled very often. Were is the best place to get the DJ plans? Is that GT fabric on wings or something else! Looks perfect. Thanks for the pix and inspiration! Bob

Thanks, Bob. It is covered with Sig Koverall, sealed with Minwax Polycrylic, and the lozenges are painted on using latex paints with an airbrush and stencils. Jim
