Hi there to all you Scale R/C buil;ders and flyers. I have been in the hobbby for many years but my skills have always been lacking. I quess alot of it was time and not having someone to really learn from. I have finally completed my goal of getting all of Dave Platts instructional tapes. All I can really say is WOW!. It was like getting my own personal mentor in the hobby. I have learned so much from him. Alot of things that I never really knew. I have had the pleasure of speaking to him over the telephone, he really is a pleasure to talk to. To bad I don't drink I would love to talk to him over his favorite "Sam Adams!". I would love to someday get good enough to compete. Well hope you all are doing well and I hope to make new friends.

You have certainly come to the right place .........you will get lots of assistance here as well.....there is an absolute wealth of knowledge that RCSBers are willing to share. Hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.........but........... BEWARE.........the site will really interfere with your workshop time....

Thanks for the support. I really love to learn new things about my hobby. and love what new tools I can get to make it better of a hobby. Like finally getting my decimal ruler the 258. Boy just getting that was like pulling teeth. None of the stores had it in my area and I finally found one online.

Dave has some great videos and he's quite the character in person if you ever get a chance to meet him. I think you will find the finest group of builders here on RCSB (yes I'm bias) and all are willing to help with any questions you may have along the way if you get stuck.
