Hello everyone.  For those that don't know me my name is Ben Andrus and I'm flying for Team USA in F4C.

I know that many of you are interested in the contest, I'm going to do my best to keep this thread updated.  Last time around I didn't have time or a stable internet connection so I wasn't able to post until afterwards, I'm hoping it's better this time.  Also I'll also invite other RCSBrs from other teams to post.

To help out I've gotten my wife Whitney an account and she'll be posting stuff as well.  She's a Model Wife but not that kind of Model Wife forum image, so she may not be able to answer many questions.

There are a few of the builds here on RCSB, Peter Fynn's Southern Martlet, Hector's Ercoupe, German Team Manager Klaus's Lysander, and my Fairchild 24.  If there are more that I've omitted feel free to add them.

Almost all of our crates have arrived at the BMFA site.  As far as I know nobody has had any delays in customs or anything and so far there's been some damage to the crates but the planes all seem OK.  MANY thanks to Graham and Manny for receiving our crates and checking on them for us.

Some of our team arrives July 6 and the rest of us on the 7th, unlike last time we're not all flying over together.  I'll start posting updates then.

See y'all in England

Ben

Definitely a model wife but not a “rc model wife.” In my design school studies my models always brought my grades down. :)

I’ll do my best to share the competition, take lots of photos, and be a good liaison to this thread. My job at worlds is to represent US in cooking. I’ll be making a traditional jambalaya and a bananas foster bread pudding. I’ll do you proud … hopefully.

Looking forward to the jambalaya and a bananas foster bread pudding.
