Saturday 13 June. Far East Side of Fort Worth off Randoll Mill road and East Loop 820. Landing fee $30 includes lunch for pilots. Spectators FREE. Usually a good turnout. Flying starts at 9AM and goes till 1PM or so. Not sure of any door prizes or events other than lots of Biplanes in the air! Burgers/Dogs/Drinks/Chips/Cold Water are always good! $5 lunch donation for spectators.

Bring and fly any bipe you like! Grass Field 500 Feet long. Covered Pitt Area with power outlets for charging. Also a Porta Potty. Free parking. Bring a folding chair if you like, but we have some chairs and lots of bench seating. Bring your own tent as well!

Dragged out the BUSA 1/4 Scale Fokker DVII today and took to the shop. Charged the batts and checked under the cowl.  Will run the engine in a few days as she hasn't been to the field in a couple of years. I hope the wind will be from the SE and down the runway. She has been flown,
 but only by test pilot Barry P.  I need to get some stick time on her.

Hope Sat is fine weather for the Bipe Meet. Winds are forecast from the South, 10-15. No rain till Sunday. 

Had to make a repair on my top wing hold down clip. It failed due to vibration and broke the clip. Took it off, remade it from a piano hinge part, and resoldered it back on. Then ran the engine again for 25 mintes. The solder joint help up to full throttle, so, it should be good for several more flights, anyway. 

You can see how the clip has opened up, by the gap. After I took it off, it appeared to be a cold solder joint. So, made a new clip.

There was a good turnout to the Biplane meet today. The cooks estimated 100 folks to get an idea of how many burgers and dogs to fix. 

My test pilot Barry P flew while I took some pics of the DVII. Got a couple of good ones.
